Kaka Handmade Art Market
Yesterday we went to Kaka Handmade Art Market at Shaw Parade, KL. Interesting Art Regeneration programme selling handmade art pieces by various artists, so don't forget the next one on 4th July 2010 ok? But I hope organizer can improve the selection of venue next time, for this one was quite small, so not convenient.

Eco Bag
My mom has a lot of shopping bag in different colors and different sizes. Therefore, we don't have to use plastic bag when we do shopping (don't you know that plastic takes hundreds/thousand years to decompose?) . Plastic is contributing to environmental pollution and gives bad impact towards live creatures including us, human. Of course we still use plastic to dispose garbage but my mom try her best to use 'Biodegradable Plastic Bag' which takes lesser time to decompose.
Now, everytime I shop, I'll use my own shopping bag and try my best to say 'NO' to plastic bag, especially the small ones. I bring my own water tumbler and sometimes lunch box to school or used my own plastic container when I bought kuehs.
So friends, what are you waiting for? Start say 'NO' to plastic bag ok? :)

The Last Stand of Africa's......
THERE ARE ONLY 650 MOUNTAIN GORILLAS left in the world. These huge primates are endangered by habitat loss, war and disease, for wich humans are responsible. They live in highlands forest crossing three national borders in central Africa. Most mountain gorillas are found in the volcanic Virunga mountains at the Volcano National Park in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Mgahinga National Park in Uganda. A smaller population exists in Uganda's Bwindi-Impenetrable Forest National Park.
ACTION YOU CAN TAKE
if you aren't lucky enough to be able to see mountain gorillas in the wild, there is still plenty you can do tosupport them:
